Will 23/5 Trading Break Your Strategy?

Nasdaq recently announced they're aiming to add 23/5 trading in December.
This will essentially extend the pre-market session from 4 am to 9:30 am to 9 pm the night before to 9:30 am.
(Here are the details of how it will work.)
I've heard from a few traders wondering how this might affect their strategies.
I have a take on this, but I want to hear from you first.
