Automation Doesn't Care if You're Sick

A few days ago, I woke up with a brutal sore throat and a fever.
I could function, but just barely.
It's one thing to have automation in place so you can:
Miss fewer trades
Get better entry prices than you would with click trading
Create capacity to take far more trades from more strategies
Those benefits are pretty obvious and the first things that come to mind when considering automating your trades.
But an underrated benefit of automation is that software just doesn't get sick.
I was in no condition to make trading decisions that day.
But when you automate your trades, you're not making decisions - you've already created the plan outside of market hours.
